VW's Electric Dune Buggy
Volkswagen has decided to redeem themselves after releasing the "NEW" Passat by announcing something glorious. They just released sketches of a new electric Dune Buggy. Known as the MEB platform for all their future electric vehicles, they decided to show its flexibility and ability to run low volume vehicles.

The car is due to make its debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March. The creation of this car shows that VW is still able to bring us fun to drive cars while still adapting to the future.
Klaus Bischoff Head Designer at Volkswagen stated,
“A buggy is more than a car. It is vibrancy and energy on four wheels. These attributes are embodied by the new ID. BUGGY, which demonstrates how a modern, non-retro interpretation of a classic can look and, more than anything else, the emotional bond that electric mobility can create,”.
This is the kind of statement I've been waiting for from a German car company. The connection we have to cars is emotional. This new attitude toward electric design makes me excited to see what happens next. The Dune Buggy now lives on through the exciting ID. BUGGY. Who's ready to hit the beach?
